Summer Camp for Teachers in Finland, 5.-7.August 2019
University of Helsinki Science Education Centre (a part of the LUMA Centre Finland network) and the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR) train teachers from various educational levels and around the world in Teachers’ Climate Change Forum (TCCF) 2019 Summer Camp in Finland.
The camp is taking place from 5th to 7th of August. Teachers may apply for the Camp by May 5th and the lucky ones will be asked to join the camp on 15th of May. Get more info from here!
A student-teacher workshop "Stepping out of the pond - Global Citizenship Education for the Baltic Sea countries" in Hildesheim in Germany, 9.-10.05.2019
We would like to invite you to our first international student-teacher workshop on the topic of Global Citizenship Education (GCED). In the last couple of decades, we have continued to work together at our schools, in our national networks and at international events, the common focus being the Baltic Sea. In the last decade UNESCO has put an emphasis on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and more recently on Global Citizenship Education. As a UNESCO network we see it as our task to discuss how we can take a step ’out of the pond’ and find a practical application for GCED in our work in the UNESCO Baltic Sea Project network.

International integrated conference on environmental studies and English in Lithuania, 06.05.2019
The aim of the conference is to improve the academic, linguistic and general competences of the students, presenting work related to research activities.
The conference will be held at Prienai ‘Žiburys‘ Gymnasium on 6 May at 10 a. m. (1 J. Basanavičius Street).
